Add a clearly visible emergency shutdown point to your solar, battery-storage or backup-power system with the IMO Rapid Shutdown Initiator.
Pressing the large red mushroom button activates the shutdown circuit of compatible connected equipment, helping first responders, technicians and property owners respond quickly during an emergency. Once pressed, the button remains locked until it is intentionally reset.
Its IP67, Type 12 enclosure protects against dust and water, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor installations in demanding Canadian environments. Important Compatibility Information
This product is a shutdown initiator and does not disconnect solar panels, batteries or other power sources by itself. It must be properly wired to compatible rapid-shutdown inputs, safety relays or control equipment.
Installation should be completed by a qualified electrical professional. Confirm compatibility, placement, labelling and applicable Canadian electrical requirements with the equipment manufacturer and local authority having jurisdiction before installation.
To serve customers across Canada, many larger products are shipped by freight to ensure safe transport. Depending on the item and your location, you may have the option to pick up from a nearby warehouse terminal or request delivery to your home, cabin, or job site.
Terminal Pickup for Larger Items
Terminal pickup is available for many items over 150 lbs and can help reduce shipping costs.
For eligible freight-shipped products, you may see a Hold for Pickup at Local Terminal option at checkout. This will show available warehouse terminals closest to your shipping address, generally within a 100 km radius when available.
Once your order is scheduled to arrive, the freight company will contact you with pickup details.
Terminal pickup orders must be picked up within 48 hours of being contacted. After 48 hours, a $45/day storage fee may apply.
