Canadian Installation Notes

To meet CSA requirements, the GridBOSS is not service-entrance rated. A 100A or 200A disconnect is required between the electrical meter and the GridBOSS. 

GridBOSS MID V3.1 ships without breakers. Breakers must be selected separately to match your inverter, generator input, and smart-load configuration. 

To maintain UL certification inside the GridBOSS, copper wire must be used inside the unit. Aluminum wire is permitted for external connections.
