The Volthium 51.2-100-R-H-3U-C is a 48 V-class LiFePO4 server-rack battery that packs 5.12 kWh into a 19-inch, 3U chassis. Self-heating lets it charge in cold Canadian conditions, and the battery bank carries UL9540 certification, which makes code-compliant installations in Canadian homes much simpler.
It communicates with most popular 48 V inverters over CAN or RS485, including Victron (through the Volthium CAN Hub), Sol-Ark, Schneider and LuxPower. You can scale from one battery to a 32-battery bank.
Key Features
- Self-heating for Canadian winters – Heats automatically when charging between about -20 °C and 5 °C, and stops at 12 °C.
- UL9540 certified bank – The modules are ETL UL1973 (3rd Edition) and UL9540A listed, and the full battery bank is certified to UL9540.
- 5.12 kWh LiFePO4 – Long-life lithium iron phosphate rated for 6,000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge.
- Smart communication – CAN and RS485 ports, DIP-switch inverter protocols, dry contacts and direct Victron Cerbo GX support through VE.Can.
- Scales with you – Up to 32 units in parallel with automatic addressing and a built-in pre-charge circuit.
- Rack, wall or floor – Standard 19-inch 3U format, with optional Volthium stack, floor and wall kits.

Always inspect your shipment before signing any paperwork.
If the box or pallet is damaged, note the damage clearly on the Bill of Lading before signing, or refuse the shipment if the damage is significant.
If no damage is recorded and the shipment is accepted, the freight carrier may consider it delivered in good condition. In that case, we may not be able to issue a refund or replacement.
